Project Tigris is now called FlowTraq™

Now that ‘Project Tigris’ is officially in it’s final stages of development, we have finally settled on a name: ‘ProQueSys FlowTraq™’. Same software, same benefits, new name. We have spent the last several months gathering feedback, and have been improving our filtering, alerting, and reporting to fit the diverse needs we have encountered in our pilot deployments. A big bonus of this first FlowTraq™ Beta is the completely reworked configuration, virtually eliminating the need for software restarts on key configuration changes.
Memory footprint, processing threads, input ports can now all be changed, added, and removed without ever interrupting the operation of the system. This means you will no longer miss incoming flows as you decide to double the alloted RAM. We have taken great care to ensure that existing ‘Project Tigris’ installations will be compatible with the release of FlowTraq™. Your database will be retained, as will your user settings. If you have a very complex setup, and you feel the upgrade might interfere, please contact us immediately, we’ll be happy to assist!
